All entrepreneurs want to gain profit as much as possible in doing their business; therefore, they must focus on human resource management to help their employees work most effectively. This paper aimed at analyzing human resource management in a typical organization that has been implementing this task well. The task took a long period and requires a deeply understanding of theory and practical activities of managing staff.
Therefore, the paper provided a brief overview of this issue as well as practical experience. The first section of the paper was a summary derived from a lot of books and materials about human resource management. It presented its historical background so that we know how it was in the past. After stating a general definition of managing, this section also mentioned four main roles of human resource management.
In addition, functions of management process were presented such as determining human resource needs, planning, recruitment and selection, orientation, training and development, ect. D~~OOD(fKlmDu~ :Af. owadays, when the society is developing day by day and the population is increasing more and more, the role of managers is more important. A very important role in any organization is the management of people. Human resource management is involved a lot in the success or failure of an enterprise.
It is a complicated task to manage people because each individual brings a different talent, contribution, and sometimes problems to the company especially to public sector as Ba Ria-Vung Tau Post and Telecommunications. Sheer size and mounting pressure for greater efficiency in government make the need for talented and motivated public sector managers greater than ever. Public sector managers must deal with a negative stereotype and constraints generally not found in private, profit-seeking businesses. ill order to manage human resource effectively, one philosophy that has been applied is "put the right man in the right job ".
There is no any particular standard to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of human resource management in a company. However, before we consider if the way of managing people in this company is more effective than the others, we should have knowledge about this issue. There was no study about human resource management of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Post and Telecommunications before. It had been operating under the planned HRM in Ba Ria- Vung Tau Post and Telecommunications -Page III- Advisor: Z ~.
