The urgentity of the topic Today, mankind has entered a modern age thanks to science and technological advancements. The most notable among _ these accomplishments is the development of information technology. It can be argued that information technology has granted businesses a new perspective and mindset about their future growth.
Digital applications, especially in the banking sector, have aided in the rapid development of banking services, bringing numerous benefits to customers. After Vietnam's integration into the global economy, several banks have successfully implemented these electronic services. For instance, MB Bank, Vietcombank, Tpbank, and ViettelPay are among the pioneers in this area. However, with the arrival of a mass of international credit institutions with huge amount of capital, cutting-edge technologies, diverse services, and extensive experience, meeting the growing needs of consumers, as well as attracting demanding customers, has become much more difficult.
Moreover, Today, in an age where information technology is rapidly becoming an indispensable component of all commercial services, the most important thing for a bank to keep up with the modern world and improve competitiveness with other banks is to grow and upgrade its e-commerce services and information technology., It is clear from there that this is a service that needs extra consideration and is considered an essential competitive strategy on the development of banks. Realizing the importance of the services indispensable to this, JI would choose’ their research topic: " Business development experience of the bank. Research objectives - Analyze the operation of e-banking services at MB Bank, Vietcombank, Tpbank, ViettelPay 3. Object and scope of the study e Object: Digital banks in Vietnam and around the world e scope: from 2015 to 2020 4.
Research Methods: Qualitative methods, is based on collection, analysis of trends, opportunities and challenges, and assessment of performance from countries. Research Structure: 3 chapters Chapter I: Theoretical basis for digital banking Chapter II: Development of digital banking in Vietnam and in a number of countries in the world Chapter III: Conclusions and solutions to improve the efficiency of digital banking development 6. Literature reviews: "Improving the quality of digital banking services at Asia Bank (ACB)" (2012) by Pham Thi Kien Phuong .The author examined the key factors impacting the efficiency of electronic banking services at ACB, then examined customer loyalty using real surveys and SPSS software to come up with ideas for improving digital banking services. The author was able to understand the significance of these influence factors by analyzing them and posing a number of questions in the survey for the study.
In the article "The level of digital transformation affecting the competitiveness of banks," Oleh Kolodiziev and Mykhailo Krupka contributed to the study on Digital Banking by using mathematical metrics to assess the model scale as well as correlation model. By using the findings from cluster analysis and assessment in the modem economy, the article showed that the impact of internet and mobile banking are important factors in evaluating the competitiveness of banks that are converting their conventional models into digital models. Applying the approach suggested in the article, the bank managers mentioned in the article will evaluate efficiency and make appropriate decisions regarding investing in digital services. In their paper on Digital bank: development trends (2018), Bondarenko Anastasia and Shinkareva Olga Vladimirovna used information gathered from methods such as_ direct surveys, analysis, synthesis, and abstraction.
In addition, the article examined how management mechanisms, technologies, methods, and strategies have evolved in response to the new environment fostered by the digital era. Koroleva and Tatiana Kudryavtseva presented "Factors Influencing Digital Bank Performance" in Digital Science 2019 used a Regression model on datasets from 16 digital banks to have a better understandingof the factors that influence digital bank performance. The rate of return on assets in 2018 was used to determine these banks' performance. Although identifying loans and remote deposits remained difficult, conclusions could be drawn that a digital bank's internal factors contribute significantly to its performance 10 Technology Revolution 4.0 represents a significant advancement in research and technology, as well as the problems and complexities of this emerging technology.
The authors of the research paper titled “Are We Ready for the Challenge of Banks 4.0? Designing a Roadmap for Banking Systems in Industry 4.0”, Spulbar Cristi, Ramona Birau, and Amir Mehdiabadi will specifically present both strategies and roadmaps for banking in the 4. The aim of this paper is to provide a comprehensive description of Banking 4.0's realistic implementations in Industry 4. This paper explores the Fourth Industrial Revolution's technological dynamics and identifies the core metrics that can be used to create a strategic map for fourth-generation banks and their preparation to join Industry 4. This paper examines a systematic review of fully integrated Banking 4.0 and the application of Industry 4.0 technologies and demonstrates a distinct pattern of integration of Banking 4.
The performance of successful global banks in implementing these technologies is one of the article's standout features. According to the findings, Banking 4.0 is an integrative value generation framework comprised of six architecture standards and fourteen technology developments. A main and relevant guide would be the roadmap planned for banks to reach Industry 4.0 and how they collaborate with manufacturing companies. Thabani Nyoni (2020), “The impact of digital banking on the peromance of commercial banks in Zimbabwe”.
The main objective of the study was to investigate the impact of digital banking on the financial performance of commercial banks in Zimbabwe. The thesis focused on 40 commercial banks in Zimbabwe, using annual secondary data from 2013 to 2017 derived from the banks' annual 11 financial accounts and publications. Four digital banking variables were introduced (online consumer deposits, online banking transfers, internet fees and commissions, and internet banking expenditure), and return on assets (ROA) was used as a financial performance metric. The mathematical data analysis techniques used were panel data analysis (the Random effects regression model) and Pearson's Product Moment Correlation analysis.
The study recommends that commercial banks in Zimbabwe should partner and subscribe to reliable local mobile network providers for uninterrupted and effective service delivery and also ensure that the mobile network providers craft innovative services that are tailor- made to the banks' customers. The banks should continuously upgrade their electronic banking technology so that they have an updated system in place for effective and efficient service deliver. CHAPTER I: THEORETICAL BASIS FOR DIGITAL BANKING 1.1 Digitalization Digitalization is a form of modernization, converting ordinary systems into digital systems. For example, digitizing paper documents of different sizes, exporting them to many different file formats such as tif, jpg, pdf, bmp or digitalizing television, converting from analog broadcasting to digital broadcasting.
To put it more simply, digitalization is the process of importing data into software so that it can be efficiently managed, evaluated, and followed up on. Nowadays, many people confuse between "digitization" and "digital transformation". Digitization is the conversion of real values into numbers. Digital conversion, on the other hand, is more complicated because it can be thought of as a whole phase in which digitization is used.
Specifically, after the data has been digitized, we must use technologies such as AI, Big Data,. to analyze the data, transform it and create another value. It can be said that digital transformation is a more developed form of digitization. Digital conversions are more complicated than digitizing.2 Digital banking To build digital banking systems (DB), traditional banking technology and models, as well as other contemporary goods and services, must be replaced by digital platforms.
According to the source, researching the concept of DB should be the first step in understanding the services that DB offers. DB is a novel definition that has not been formally used in the curriculum at any Institute or University but it is primarily defined by the regulator or is 13 mentioned by banks that have successfully implemented or providers of banking technology solutions. In reality, there are various definitions of DB, but the author discovered that those definitions reasonably suitable for DB through analysis include: - United Overseas Bank Singapore (UOB) specialist expert: DB is a banking business in the digital age.
