Reasons for choosing the topic Given the current volatile economic situation and the rapid development of technology, businesses are facing challenges as they have to compete fiercely with the external environment while ensuring stability from the internal environment, or even continuous innovation to keep up with the times. Especially for manufacturing enterprises, this is a challenging problem for them to operate if they do not realize that quality is one of the key factors they need to focus on to drive profits and production efficiency.
Businesses need to continuously grasp and update methods, applying new technologies in quality management. From there, not only does it enhance the quality of the production process and improve the quality of the products, but it also serves as a stepping stone to surpass competitors. For that reason, it can be said that quality is a fundamental factor in creating a complete product that meets the previously set standards and has its own value that satisfies customer needs. According to Feigenbaum, "Quality is when the use of a product or service meets customer expectations.
However, to achieve such a quality product, the first step is to establish and maintain an advanced quality management system, and of course, this is not easy for any manufacturing enterprise.0 era and moving towards 5.0, many types of software as well as quality management methods and tools are being implemented to meet the needs of different types of companies. Therefore, to fully harness the potential effectively, the company needs to have a robust and comprchensive quality management system to ensure that the company's output is the best result. At Bosch Long Thanh manufacturing plant, during the process of creating push belt products, each round of direct and indirect quality control assessments contributes to the creation of a complete product that meets quality requirements before reaching the customers. Even minor negative impacts from the management system can affect product quality, so ensuring quality is extremely necessary.
The method considered the most innovative and trendiest in the quality management system at the Bosch Long Thanh factory is Gap Analysis. However, this is also a newly completed project that Bosch has implemented in recent years, so the emergence of gaps is easily understandable. Recognizing the importance of improving the quality of the management system to develop and enhance quality towards the perspective of "Quality as the foundation for development", the author decided to choose the topic: "Evaluating the effectiveness of gap analysis and proposing solutions to improve Gap Analysis in the Quality Management System at Bosch Vietnam Co. In addition, proposing solutions that are aligned with current realities also aims to ensure quality control, minimize the likelihood of risks, and maintain the sustainable development of the quality management system.
