Hanoi, May 2023 Author (Signature and full name) Nguyễn Thị Thuỳ Trang ii INTRODUCTION 1. Reason for choosing the topic Based on inheritance and development of Natural and Social Studies (in Grades 1,2,3), Science (in Grades 4,5) is built on the basic and initial foundation of natural Science and research fields of health education and environmental education. Science is a subject that helps students arouse curiosity, create opportunities for students to learn and explore the natural world, scientific knowledge. Especially, Grade 5 Science is an important subject in helping students learn natural Science at the lower secondary level and Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the high school level.
Grade 5 Science is a subject that provides students with initial and practical knowledge such as: Metabolism, nutritional needs and reproduction, the growth of the human body, how to prevent some common diseases, characteristics and uses of some substances, some materials and energy sources common in production life. In addition, the subject also helps students develop skills such as: appropriate behavior skills in some situations related to health problems of themselves, their families, and the community. Students know how to observe and do some simple scientific experiments, close to life and production. Science also helps students know how to ask questions, ask questions in the learning process; know how to find out information to answer; know how to express insights in words, articles, drawings, diagrams.
Through such knowledge and skills, students form a sense of self- discipline to implement hygiene and safety rules for themselves, their families, and the community. Students who are curious about their Science are always conscious of applying the knowledge they have learned to life. This helps students form a love for people, nature, water, and beauty. In fact, Grade 5 Science not only provides students with basic knowledge about people, nature, skills training, and correct learning attitude but also contributes to the development of skills and qualities of future scientists.
In addition, Science also helps students get acquainted with rigorous scientific thinking, forming students necessary competencies to adapt to real life. Therefore, Grade 5 Science is an important subject and has a close relationship with other subjects in the school. And achieving the set goals requires each teacher to know how to apply teaching methods flexibly and creatively. More importantly, teachers need to choose to apply interactive teaching methods to Grade 5 Science.
The application of interactive teaching methods in teaching has been used since a very early age in many countries around the world and has brought great results. In Vietnam, the application of interactive teaching methods has been applied for a long time but has not been used and applied flexibly and reasonably; a part of teachers still has not realized the important role of interactive teaching methods in teaching activities, the effects brought about by interactive teaching techniques… Therefore, the quality of teaching has not been improved. Therefore, one of the urgent problems is that each teacher must understand and know how to apply interactive teaching techniques flexibly and rationally in each lesson to bring the highest efficiency for each lesson. The 5th Grade Science subject also plays an important role in providing students with diverse and rich content on nature and society, on the topics of People and health, Matter and energy, Food animals and plants, Environment, and natural resources.
In this subject, teachers must form students passion for the subject and the belief in Science. To do so, it is required that teachers organize learning activities towards the acquisition of knowledge and practice creative learning skills for students. Therefore, I chose this topic: "Some interactive methods in teaching 5th Grade Science” to study deeply. Research purposes Proposing some interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science to help students be more active and creative in the subject.
Research subjects and scope Research subjects Research on some interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science. Research scope Within the scope of this topic, I only delve deeply into some interactive teaching methods and how to build lesson plans in Grade 5 Science. Research questions What is interactive teaching? What interactive teaching methods are available? What is the current situation of using interactive teaching methods in Grade 5 Science? How to apply interactive teaching methods to Science to improve the teaching quality? 5. Research missions Research on theoretical basis and practical basis in the application of some interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science subject.

Research Methods Theoretical research methods Research on the theoretical basis of some interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science. Researching documents related to interactive teaching methods for students in addition to learning the program in the 5th Grade Science textbook and some reference materials.
Situation survey method Survey of the current situation of using interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science for teachers and students. Experimental method of pedagogy Develop several lessons plans using interactive teaching methods in teaching 5th Grade Science subject. Besides, use the lesson to test some teaching plans. Research hypothesis Whether good use of interactive teaching methods in teaching Science 5th Grade will help students learn better.
Thesis structure The thesis structure consists of 3 parts: table of contents, introduction, and conclusion. The content consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1: Theoretical basis and practical basis in the application of some interactive teaching methods in teaching Grade 5 Science. Chapter 2: Application of some interactive teaching methods in teaching Grade 5 Science Chapter 3: Experimenting some interactive teaching methods in Grade 5 Science CONTENT CHAPTER 1: THEORETICAL BASIS AND PRACTICE BASIS IN THE APPLICATION OF SOME INTERACTIVE TEACHING METHODS IN TEACHING GRADE 5 SCIENCE 1. Interactive teaching research in the world Teaching is done by the interactive, coordinated interaction of the elements in the structure of the Teaching Process.
The interaction between these elements creates the movement and development of the whole teaching process according to defined goals. In ancient times, many educators saw only the role of teachers and learners as well as the relationship between teaching and learning activities. Typical is Confucius (551 - 479 p. CN) with the prominent idea "Mutual Education" [1] (Teachers and learners interact to promote each other's development) to this day, his ideas still greatly influence teaching and education activities in schools.
CN) ancient Greek philosopher. His most important contribution to humanity was the method "dialectical queries," a. “This is a Q&A process between teacher and learner; In it, the teacher is the "lifting,” “Midwife" learners' initiatives to help them find the truth. Through different historical periods, the idea of interactive teaching continues to be affirmed and developed with the contributions of educators: J.
In particular, the educational reform of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries opened many innovative teaching directions focusing on learners' activities. Russian educators such as: N. Attention has also been paid to the reciprocal relationship between the elements of the teaching process, especially the relationship of teacher and learner, the relationship in the pedagogical triangle: teacher - learner - content. However, in this research direction, the authors mainly focus on the interaction relationship between teachers and learners, not covering all the structure and functions of each component, especially environmental factors that have not really been interested in research, especially the impact of the environment on teachers, learners in teaching.
Dewey (1859-1952), Whose research direction on theoretical basis, methods and techniques of interactive teaching believed that living people need to interact and work together to solve problems and experience those problems in school. He emphasized the role of learners as "learner-centered," and proposed building "active schools," "teaching by doing. "Deway's educational thought has an important thesis that the premise for interactive teaching is the influence of "social interactions" in teaching. Vugzki (1896-1934), showed that cognitive development stems from the best "social interactions" of learning when it reaches the "nearest developmental region.
"He said that the cognitive process of learners often takes place at two levels, namely the current level and the nearest development region. At the current level, learners can independently solve problems and tasks with their own abilities without any help from teachers. When learners are in the state of the nearest development zone to solve problems and complete the tasks set by teachers, learners must participate in discussion, criticism, debate,. It means that learners have diverse interactions with teachers, with classmates, with the environment.
Without interactive activities, learners cannot solve the learning task on their own. The mechanism of learning is a combination of individual learning and collaborative learning, teaching is a two-way cooperation, instructors, directors, and self-disciplined, active, independent, and creative games. His development interactive teaching perspective has ushered in a new teaching trend, Active Teaching Methods.
