ABSTRACT There are a large number of corresponding words between Vietnamese and Chinese, but duc to the nationality of the language and the complex correspondence between Vietnamese and Chinese counterparts, including the phenomenon that multiple Chinese words correspond to one Vietnamese word, which can be called the “ Many To One " verbs phenomenon. In the process of Chinese expression and communication, the proper use of “ Many To One” verbs can enhance the expression effect. In recent years, most ofthe current textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language use English as a intermediate language to explain new words.
The reason is that learners do not understand the “ Many To One ” verbs words that seem to have the same meaning, and some differences between “ Many To One ” verbs words, which will lead to errors in the use of “ Many To One ” verbs. Verbs are a large category of Vietnamese Chinese words, which is also an essential and important component of a sentence. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the “ Many To One ” verbs ” explained in Vietnamese, but most of the previous researches mainly stay on the English interpretation. Therefore, at present, the discrimination of “ Many To One ” verbs has always been a key and difficult problem for Chinese teachers and learners and has caused a great impact.
This thesis is mainly divided into five chapters as falllows: * The first chapter is introduction which mainly introduces the origin and significance of the research the research object and the source of the corpus, summarizes the previous research and briefly state the research ideas and research methods. = The second chapter is the Vietnamese version of “ Chinese course ” (three volumes, six in total); Boya Chinese (Volume 2, four in total); 301 sentences of Chinese conversation; Bridge {Volume II ), the target words and screening steps of “ Many To One ” verbs in the new word list, as well as the determination results and classification of “ Many To One ” verbs in Vietnamese Chinese textbooks. " The third chapter based on the collected self-made corpus, it classifies and analyzes the common errors and explanations from the semantic and pragmatic perspectives. " The fourth chapter puts forward some strategies for the current teaching materials and reference books in Vietnam and Chinese teaching strategies, especially for the teaching of "many to one verbs”.
The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the research results of this paper, and points out. the innovations and shortcomings of the article. So far, we hope to avoid or reduce the errors of Vietnamese students in the acquisition of Chinese “Many To One ” verbs, improve the quality of Chinese vocabulary teaching and learning, and help second language learners learn “Many To One TM verbs better. Key words: Vietnamese Chinese Verbs, Many To One Verbs Phenomenon, Vocabulary Textbooks tw Bh: Bit 1.
