I. Khó khăn ngôn ngữ trong dịch tin tức kinh tế

Khó khăn ngôn ngữ trong dịch tin tức kinh tế từ tiếng Anh sang tiếng Việt là một vấn đề phức tạp mà sinh viên năm 3 và 4 ngành Tiếng Anh Thương mại tại NEU thường gặp phải. Các sinh viên này đã được trang bị kiến thức lý thuyết về dịch thuật, nhưng thực tế cho thấy họ vẫn gặp nhiều khó khăn trong việc chuyển tải thông tin chính xác và hiệu quả. Theo khảo sát, những khó khăn này chủ yếu đến từ sự khác biệt ngữ nghĩa và ngữ pháp giữa hai ngôn ngữ. Ngôn ngữ kinh tế có nhiều thuật ngữ chuyên ngành mà không phải lúc nào cũng có tương đương trong tiếng Việt, dẫn đến việc dịch không chính xác hoặc thiếu sót thông tin. Hơn nữa, sự khác biệt về văn hóa cũng ảnh hưởng đến cách hiểu và diễn đạt thông tin kinh tế. Việc nắm vững các khái niệm kinh tế và khả năng sử dụng ngôn ngữ một cách linh hoạt là rất cần thiết để vượt qua những khó khăn này.

1.1. Các loại khó khăn ngôn ngữ

Các sinh viên thường gặp phải hai loại khó khăn chính khi dịch tin tức kinh tế: khó khăn về từ vựng và khó khăn về cú pháp. Khó khăn về từ vựng bao gồm việc không tìm được từ tương đương hoặc không hiểu rõ nghĩa của thuật ngữ chuyên ngành. Điều này dẫn đến việc dịch sai hoặc không đầy đủ thông tin. Khó khăn về cú pháp liên quan đến việc cấu trúc câu trong tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt khác nhau, khiến cho việc dịch trở nên khó khăn hơn. II. Nguyên nhân gây ra khó khăn trong dịch thuật

Nguyên nhân chính dẫn đến khó khăn trong dịch thuật tin tức kinh tế từ tiếng Anh sang tiếng Việt có thể được phân loại thành hai nhóm: nguyên nhân ngôn ngữ và nguyên nhân văn hóa. Nguyên nhân ngôn ngữ bao gồm sự khác biệt về ngữ pháp, từ vựng và cách diễn đạt giữa hai ngôn ngữ. Ví dụ, nhiều thuật ngữ kinh tế trong tiếng Anh không có từ tương đương trong tiếng Việt, hoặc có thể có nhưng lại mang ý nghĩa khác. 2.1. Tác động của văn hóa đến dịch thuật

Văn hóa đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc hình thành cách mà thông tin được truyền tải và hiểu. Trong lĩnh vực kinh tế, các khái niệm và thuật ngữ thường mang tính chất văn hóa đặc thù. Sinh viên cần phải nắm vững không chỉ ngôn ngữ mà còn cả bối cảnh văn hóa để có thể dịch chính xác. Ví dụ, một số thuật ngữ kinh tế có thể được hiểu khác nhau tùy thuộc vào bối cảnh văn hóa của từng quốc gia. Do đó, việc nghiên cứu và hiểu biết về văn hóa kinh tế là rất cần thiết để sinh viên có thể thực hiện tốt công việc dịch thuật của mình.

III. Giải pháp cải thiện kỹ năng dịch thuật

Để cải thiện kỹ năng dịch thuật, sinh viên cần áp dụng một số giải pháp cụ thể. Đầu tiên, việc tăng cường học tập và nghiên cứu về tài liệu kinh tế là rất quan trọng. Sinh viên nên tìm hiểu các thuật ngữ chuyên ngành và cách sử dụng chúng trong ngữ cảnh thực tế. Thứ hai, thực hành dịch thuật thường xuyên sẽ giúp sinh viên nâng cao khả năng nhận diện và xử lý các khó khăn ngôn ngữ. Cuối cùng, việc tham gia các khóa học bổ sung về dịch thuật và ngôn ngữ sẽ giúp sinh viên trang bị thêm kiến thức và kỹ năng cần thiết. Những giải pháp này không chỉ giúp sinh viên vượt qua khó khăn trong dịch thuật mà còn nâng cao khả năng cạnh tranh trong thị trường lao động.

3.1. Tăng cường thực hành dịch thuật

Thực hành là chìa khóa để cải thiện kỹ năng dịch thuật. Sinh viên nên tham gia vào các dự án dịch thuật thực tế, nơi họ có thể áp dụng kiến thức lý thuyết vào thực tiễn. Việc làm việc với các chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực dịch thuật cũng sẽ giúp sinh viên học hỏi được nhiều kinh nghiệm quý báu. Hơn nữa, việc tham gia vào các nhóm dịch thuật hoặc câu lạc bộ ngôn ngữ sẽ tạo cơ hội cho sinh viên trao đổi và học hỏi lẫn nhau. The importance of language translation and research into all of its facets has been widely recognised, especially in the context of international integration, where languages are formed to coexist with one another. The constant growth of commercial sectors contributes greatly to this.

This is represented in part by the multilingual economic news, which acts as a conduit for societal and economic exchange across countries. Problems communicating economic news from English to Vietnamese are investigated. It also delves into translators' mentalities and the typical difficulties they face when working with bilingual news. The data was gathered through the author's own observations and analyses, as well as through surveys given to 100 advanced language students at National Economics University.

It focuses on worldwide arranging, socio-cultural awareness, professional educational exercises, implementation of innovations, and considerably more. He asserts that translation is gaining importance in global and intercultural activity, as it facilitates common understanding among diverse and conflicting racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural groups. In the world's fastest-growing business, which includes the travel industry, translation is even more vital. The trend of international travel is growing stronger than ever. Consequently, translation acts as an indispensable link between individuals, nations, and economies.

The function of the press in socioeconomic life and the integration process is growing in importance. In addition to promptly and effectively delivering information, the press also plays the role of information orientation, directing public opinion against insufficient information and propagating advanced instances and concepts in a timely manner. Nevertheless, Vietnam's economy is expanding daily. According to Harvard University, Vietnam is one of the economies with the most astounding growth over the past decade.

From 2015 to 2020, Vietnam's economy "rose 12 positions in terms of diversification and modernisation of production capacities in the export goods structure." Additionally according to a Harvard University research, Vietnam's economy has risen from 100th in 2000 to 51st in the released rankings. This is a significant advance. This is partially attributable to the diversification of Vietnam's export structure, according to Professor David Dapice, a senior economist at Harvard University's Vietnam and Burma Program. The South and Myanmar level of Harvard University stated this as a result.

Additionally, economics is a vast field that encompasses tens of thousands of concepts and terminology. Corporate businesses cannot rely on basic translations for optimal efficiency; they must have the choice to present their documents in a thorough, logical, and cost-effective manner.

Rationale of the research Language is the most essential means of human communication. Man has made great strides in decoding and encoding one another's thoughts and communications; nonetheless, it is difficult to communicate ourselves in a second language. There are numerous languages that go extinct or vanish throughout time. In addition, each language's genesis is based on a nation's culture, which makes language increasingly abundant and diverse.

As is common knowledge, English is currently considered an international language and is spoken in the majority of countries, including Vietnam. Nonetheless, English to Vietnamese translation presents challenges due to structural variations. In addition, as a result of worldwide contact and integration, more English economic news is being introduced. Obviously, there are some difficulties in translating between a foreign language and a native language, especially in translating English economic news in particular.

Objectives of the research This research aims to investigate the common linguistic difficulties and the cause in the translation practice that juniors and seniors studying Business English at National Economics University may encounter when doing translation work on economic news. Accordingly, the study aims to recommend some methods to overcome these obstacles so that students are better equipped with professional knowledge and abilities, hence increasing their employment chances, particularly in this field.

Scope of the research The research was conducted within a limit of 100 juniors and seniors studying Business English at National Economics University in the academic years 2022-2023. Research questions e According to students' perceptions, what are the language difficulties when translating English-Vietnamese economic news? e Where do these problems come from? e What can be done to master translating English- Vietnamese economic news? 1. Research method This study is carried out with a considerable concentration on quantitative method. Quantitative method is applied to measure ‘how much’ and ‘how many’ in the case study.

The quantitative method in this study was firstly used in counting the frequency of occurrences of translation difficulties in economic news made by advanced Business English students. Questionnaires composed by the writer were used in this method: 100 Business English’s students were given questionnaires consisting of multiple-choice and writing-requiring questions through Google Form. Questionnaires included 3 main parts: Part 1: Frequency of difficults in economic news translation. (multiple-choice) Part 2: The most common mistakes that respondents claim they make during translation process and causes (multiple-choice) Part 3: Surveyors translate some English economic news into Vietnamese, then this translated version is compared with the standard version.

(writing-requiring) Tables and bar charts are used to illustrate the popularity of all mistakes and causes. Chapter 3: Findings and discussion, which shows the author's discoveries about the common errors based on specific data collected from reality. The issues are thoroughly analyzed and discussed in this chapter. Chapter 4: Conclusion and Recommendation, which summarizes the main ideas presented in the article, limitations and offers suggestions and solutions to overcome the common errors for different individuals and organizations.
