However, the significant developments of the Information Technology (IT) field have made a great impact on global growth.
It plays an essential role for socio-economic success and a competitive advantage for national competitiveness. Realizing the importance of IT digital transformation to the economy’s efficiency soon, the technology race is an inevitable result and Vietnam is not an exception. The Vietnamese Government considers digital transformation a vital solution to assist the country in the rapid and sustainable development. The process is essential to all businesses, regardless of size and industry.
Vietnam, which is a developing country, provides many opportunities and attracts various foreign investors. The Vietnamese information technology companies have grabbed the chance of development since they are the main force in the core technologies mastered and global reach expansion. Taking the advantages of the increasing market, CTIN J.C, a company which majors in the IT field using imported products from the United State, has projected the business strategies to gain the larger market share with the new kind of technology Cisco Cloud and Managed Service products and services. The purpose of expansion requires the detailed well-planned strategies to compete and win the potential domestic markets, especially with a company’s new strategic technology: Cloud-based products and services.
Having acknowledged the opportunities to apply my knowledge, experiences, and ability to the growth of CTIN J., I was assigned to do an internship in the R&D Department as a strategic business executive. The position provides me with the chance to be a part in the strategies for product expansion, exercising the learnt knowledge and implementing precise plans. History of the company Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CTIN J.C), which was formerly Informatics Equipment Repair Enterprise No. 1, was established pursuant to Decision No. 33/QD, dated 13th January 1972 by Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT). From 1972 to 2000, the company invested strongly in transmission technology and established the Informatics department, making the foundation for developing Software and System Integration network, directing to the business field in IT.
In 2001, the company equitized successfully into Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CTIN), operating in telecoms and informatics pursuant to Decision No. 537/QD-TCBD dated 11th July 2001 by VNPT with the Business Registration certification No. 0100683374 issued by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment.C is a telecommunications and information technology company, providing various ranges of products and services such as transmission installation, services deployment of 2G/3G/4G/5G networks, enterprise management software, automation solution for smart buildings, and cloud-based services, etc. The company’s main customer segments are the Government departments and small and medium Telecommunications companies.
