I. Tổng quan Tầm quan trọng của môn dịch với sinh viên HVNH

Trong bối cảnh hội nhập quốc tế sâu rộng, môn dịch đóng vai trò then chốt, đặc biệt với sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh tại Học viện Ngân hàng Việt Nam (HVNH). Dịch thuật không chỉ là công cụ giao tiếp mà còn là cầu nối văn hóa, kinh tế giữa Việt Nam và thế giới. Sinh viên được trang bị kỹ năng dịch thuật tốt sẽ có lợi thế cạnh tranh lớn trên thị trường lao động. Thái độ học tập tích cực đối với môn dịch là yếu tố quyết định sự thành công của sinh viên trong quá trình học tập và sự nghiệp sau này. Nghiên cứu này nhằm làm sáng tỏ các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến thái độ học tập môn dịch của sinh viên HVNH, từ đó đề xuất các giải pháp nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo.

1.1. Bối cảnh hội nhập và vai trò của tiếng Anh chuyên ngành

Việt Nam đang hội nhập sâu rộng vào nền kinh tế thế giới, đặc biệt sau khi gia nhập WTO, APEC, ASEAN. Tiếng Anh trở thành ngôn ngữ giao tiếp quốc tế quan trọng, là chìa khóa mở ra cơ hội hợp tác và phát triển. Theo Walks (2014), tiếng Anh là công cụ giúp con người bước vào một chân trời mới rộng lớn hơn. Trong bối cảnh này, sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh cần được trang bị kiến thức nền tảng vững chắc về tiếng Anh chuyên ngành, đặc biệt trong lĩnh vực dịch thuật kinh tế, dịch thuật tài chính, dịch thuật ngân hàng.

1.2. Môn dịch và yêu cầu kỹ năng dịch thuật chuyên nghiệp

Môn dịch không chỉ đơn thuần là chuyển ngữ từ ngôn ngữ này sang ngôn ngữ khác. Nó đòi hỏi người dịch phải có khả năng hiểu sâu sắc văn hóa, ngữ cảnh và kiến thức chuyên môn liên quan. Kỹ năng dịch thuật chuyên nghiệp bao gồm khả năng phân tích ngôn ngữ, lựa chọn từ ngữ phù hợp, và đảm bảo tính chính xác, tự nhiên của bản dịch. Sinh viên cần rèn luyện khả năng nghiên cứu, khả năng sử dụng từ điển, và khả năng làm việc nhóm để đáp ứng yêu cầu của nghề nghiệp.

II. Vấn đề Thách thức trong học môn dịch của sinh viên hiện nay

Mặc dù có vai trò quan trọng, môn dịch vẫn còn đối diện với nhiều thách thức trong quá trình giảng dạy và học tập. Nhiều sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh gặp khó khăn trong việc tiếp thu kiến thức, rèn luyện kỹ năng dịch thuật. Thái độ học tập tiêu cực, động lực học tập thấp là những rào cản lớn ảnh hưởng đến kết quả học tập. Cần xác định rõ các yếu tố ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến thái độ học tập của sinh viên để có giải pháp can thiệp kịp thời.

2.1. Khó khăn trong việc nắm vững kiến thức nền tảng và kỹ năng

Nhiều sinh viên gặp khó khăn trong việc xây dựng kiến thức nền tảng vững chắc về ngôn ngữ học, văn hóa, và tiếng Anh chuyên ngành. Thiếu hụt kỹ năng phân tích ngôn ngữ, kỹ năng nghiên cứu, và khả năng sử dụng từ điển hiệu quả cũng là những rào cản lớn. Mức độ khó của môn dịch và sự phức tạp của các thuật ngữ chuyên ngành gây ra áp lực học tập lớn cho sinh viên.

2.2. Ảnh hưởng của phương pháp giảng dạy và tài liệu học tập

Phương pháp giảng dạy môn dịch đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc khơi gợi động lực học tập và sự yêu thích môn dịch của sinh viên. Giáo viên giảng dạy cần có phương pháp truyền đạt kiến thức hiệu quả, tạo môi trường học tập tích cực, và khuyến khích sinh viên tham gia vào các hoạt động thực hành. Sự thiếu hụt tài liệu học tập chất lượng, cập nhật cũng ảnh hưởng đến quá trình tự học của sinh viên.

III. Cách cải thiện thái độ học tập môn dịch hiệu quả cho sinh viên

Để cải thiện thái độ học tập môn dịch của sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh, cần có các giải pháp toàn diện, tập trung vào việc nâng cao động lực học tập, cải thiện phương pháp giảng dạy môn dịch, và tạo môi trường học tập tích cực. Sinh viên cần nhận thức rõ tầm quan trọng của môn dịch đối với định hướng nghề nghiệp tương lai và chủ động rèn luyện khả năng tự học.

3.1. Tăng cường động lực học tập và sự yêu thích môn dịch

Để khơi gợi động lực học tập, cần tạo ra các hoạt động học tập thú vị, gắn liền với thực tế. Tổ chức các buổi hội thảo, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm từ các chuyên gia dịch thuật, các cựu sinh viên thành đạt. Khuyến khích sinh viên tham gia vào các dự án dịch thuật thực tế, các cuộc thi dịch thuật để áp dụng kiến thức đã học và rèn luyện kỹ năng dịch thuật.

3.2. Cải tiến phương pháp giảng dạy và đánh giá môn dịch

Phương pháp giảng dạy cần được đổi mới theo hướng lấy người học làm trung tâm, tăng cường tính tương tác và thực hành. Giáo viên giảng dạy nên sử dụng các công cụ hỗ trợ giảng dạy hiện đại, như CAT tools, MT, và Post-editing, để giúp sinh viên làm quen với công nghệ trong dịch thuật. Phương pháp đánh giá cần đa dạng, đánh giá cả kiến thức lý thuyết và kỹ năng dịch thuật thực tế.

3.3. Xây dựng môi trường học tập tích cực và hỗ trợ

Tạo môi trường học tập cởi mở, thân thiện, nơi sinh viên cảm thấy thoải mái chia sẻ ý kiến, đặt câu hỏi và học hỏi lẫn nhau. Tăng cường mối quan hệ giữa sinh viên và giảng viên thông qua các buổi tư vấn, trao đổi học thuật. Cung cấp phản hồi của giảng viên kịp thời, chi tiết để giúp sinh viên cải thiện kết quả học tập và hiệu quả học tập.

IV. Ứng dụng Kết quả nghiên cứu về thái độ học môn dịch tại HVNH

Nghiên cứu về thái độ học tập môn dịch của sinh viên HVNH cho thấy có nhiều yếu tố ảnh hưởng khác nhau, bao gồm yếu tố nhận thức, yếu tố cảm xúc, và yếu tố hành vi. Kết quả nghiên cứu cung cấp cơ sở khoa học để đề xuất các giải pháp cụ thể, phù hợp với đặc điểm của sinh viên HVNH.

4.1. Phân tích yếu tố nhận thức ảnh hưởng thái độ học môn dịch

Yếu tố nhận thức bao gồm kiến thức nền tảng, khả năng ngoại ngữ, và khả năng sử dụng từ điển. Nghiên cứu cho thấy sinh viên có kiến thức nền tảng vững chắc và khả năng ngoại ngữ tốt thường có thái độ học tập tích cực hơn đối với môn dịch. Khả năng sử dụng từ điển hiệu quả cũng đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc nâng cao chất lượng bản dịch.

4.2. Đánh giá tác động của yếu tố cảm xúc đến kết quả học tập

Yếu tố cảm xúc bao gồm sự yêu thích môn dịch, tâm lý học tập, và áp lực học tập. Nghiên cứu cho thấy sinh viên có sự yêu thích môn dịch thường có động lực học tập cao hơn và đạt kết quả học tập tốt hơn. Áp lực học tập quá lớn có thể gây ra tâm lý học tập tiêu cực và ảnh hưởng đến hiệu quả học tập.

4.3. Tầm quan trọng của yếu tố hành vi trong thái độ học tập

Yếu tố hành vi bao gồm sự chuẩn bị cho môn học, khả năng tự học, và khả năng làm việc nhóm. Sinh viên có sự chuẩn bị cho môn học tốt, khả năng tự học cao, và khả năng làm việc nhóm hiệu quả thường có thái độ học tập tích cực hơn và đạt kết quả học tập tốt hơn.

V. Kết luận Giải pháp nâng cao hiệu quả học môn dịch cho HVNH

Nâng cao thái độ học tập môn dịch là một quá trình lâu dài và đòi hỏi sự nỗ lực từ cả sinh viên và giáo viên. Bằng cách áp dụng các giải pháp được đề xuất, Học viện Ngân hàng có thể cải thiện chất lượng đào tạo môn dịch, giúp sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh phát triển toàn diện và đáp ứng yêu cầu của thị trường lao động.

5.1. Tóm tắt các yếu tố ảnh hưởng và giải pháp đề xuất

Nghiên cứu đã xác định được các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến thái độ học tập môn dịch của sinh viên HVNH, bao gồm yếu tố nhận thức, yếu tố cảm xúc, và yếu tố hành vi. Các giải pháp được đề xuất tập trung vào việc nâng cao động lực học tập, cải thiện phương pháp giảng dạy, và tạo môi trường học tập tích cực.

5.2. Hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo về giảng dạy môn dịch hiệu quả

Nghiên cứu có thể được mở rộng để khảo sát thái độ học tập của sinh viên ở các trường đại học khác, hoặc đi sâu vào nghiên cứu hiệu quả của các phương pháp giảng dạy mới. Cần có thêm nhiều nghiên cứu về ứng dụng công nghệ trong dịch thuật và vai trò của kỹ năng mềm trong sự thành công của người dịch.

Duong Thi Thanh Hoa Summary of the thesis: Academic English learners face a formidable obstacle when faced with the process of translation. The process of learning to translate ought to be made more exciting and intriguing for the students. The amount of interest that learners have in the actual process of learning is dependent on a wide variety of cognitive elements that are either self-directed or fostered. Among the 119 students who majored in English and successfully finished the translation course at Vietnam Banking Academy, the purpose of this study is to determine some significant elements that influence students' attitudes towards studying translation.

Qualitative and quantitative were the primary research methodologies for this study. Based on these data, it is clear that having an interest in studying Translation is an essential component of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) training. In addition, the emotional elements that learners face have a less influence on their English competence than the behavioral factors. In light of the findings of this research, a number of suggestions for pedagogical implications have been made in order to inspire both students and teachers to become more proficient in the art of translation.

INTRODUCTION This chapter will provide a brief overview of the theoretical background, objectives, and issues of the research on the factors influencing the learning attitude of English major students. The study's objectives and limitations are explained as well.

Additionally, the study's purpose and structure are presented clearly. Statement of the problem In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Vietnam is undergoing integration and development in a variety of fields, particularly since joining international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, APEC, and ASEAN, etc. English is regarded as a bridge that connects us to global civilization. And, in the TED video "The English Maniac of the World", which aired on December 12th, 2014, Walks (the most influential Walker Digital business leader in the digital age) pointed out that the native language will be associated with life, while English will be a tool to help people step into a larger new horizon in life.

Translation is also one of the factors that play a role in connecting cultures, and it is an accurate method of transmitting information between countries' languages. Researchers can quickly inherit scientific and technological achievements, international law, daily news, works of art, literature, and vice versa, exchange information, culture, and trade with countries all over the world thanks to translations. It is, however, difficult to translate fluently and accurately. Translators must be able to handle a wide range of situations which require knowledge about specialized terminology, specific cultures, and the translator's own experiences.

This is where, attitude of translation of students becomes critical. McDonough (2002) also claims that learners' perceptions of reality lead to learning. Students who approach learning with positive attitude and are passionate about discovering new knowledge, can apply theories they have learnt into practical setting. As a result, attitudes play an important role in influencing the effectiveness of the learning process, results, and students' learning achievements when studying translation.

1 Graduation Thesis Banking Academy 1. Rationale for the study In today's globalized world, translation is an important skill for communication and cultural exchange. It is especially critical for the banking industry, which has international clients and partners. Realizing the importance of translation, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vietnam Banking Academy has designed translation courses as compulsory subjects specifically for students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

According to the training program offered by the Faculty, there are two translation modules totaling 6 credits. Each subject is covered over the course of eight weeks, which is equivalent to sixteen lessons. These lessons consist of a variety of activities, such as individual and group projects, as well as hour-long discussions. The purpose of the Translation course is to train students to have full text processing capabilities (sentence structure, vocabulary, text truncation).

The students are responsible for practicing the accurate and fluent translation of various texts. Each student's academic performance is assessed based on three points including attendance, 2 midterm exams and final exam with 10%, 30% and 60% respectively. Lessons are taught directly in the physical classroom at BAV. The amount of knowledge to learn is too much while the number of lessons is limited, so students need to have a serious study attitude.

The question of how to improve students' learning attitudes and which teaching methods will be effective when teaching and learning translation will cause many researchers to ponder and consider. The study will explore the students' attitudes towards the importance of translation subjects and the effectiveness of the teaching methods used in these subjects. The study will also examine the factors that may affect the students' attitudes. The results of this study will provide insights into the current state of translation training from the students’ perspectives at Banking Academy (BA) of Vietnam and suggest ways to improve the quality of teaching and learning in this field.

To the best of my knowledge, there is the lack of research on the attitudes of English major students towards translation subjects in Vietnam, especially in the context of BAV. Therefore, this research can fill that void while also providing valuable insight into the current state of translation training in Vietnam. Understanding the factors that influence 2 Graduation Thesis Banking Academy students' attitudes of translation subjects allows educators to tailor methods and topics to improve students' learning experiences, leading to better outcomes. For several compelling reasons, the researcher must conduct a study on "FACTORS AFFECTING THE ATTITUDE TO LEARNING TRANSLATION SUBJECTS OF ENGLISH-MAJORED STUDENTS AT BANKING ACADEMY.

Objectives of study Based on the actual assessment of the attitude of English majors at BAV towards the subject of translation, the study includes two main objectives. Firstly, the study focuses on analyzing and assessing the status of students' attitudes. Secondly, the research proposes some recommendations to contribute to improving the quality of translation training at BAV. Significance of the study The study's focus on the effects of English majors' attitudes at BA has made an important contribution to the development of good skills and knowledge formation for students while studying in the field.

The results of the study can provide insights into the effectiveness of teaching methods and subject matter in Translation subjects. To educators, by understanding the factors that affect students' attitudes of Translation subjects, translation teachers can tailor teaching methods and subject matter to enhance students' learning experiences, leading to better academic performance and career prospects. The findings of this study can contribute to the development of translation education in Vietnam by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting ways to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in this field. Research questions The study's content focuses mainly on the following questions: 1.

What factors affect the attitudes of English majors at BA towards the subject of translation? 2. What are the recommendations to improve the quality of translation training at BAV? 3 Graduation Thesis Banking Academy 1. Scope and limitations of the study The students taking part in the study were all from the Banking Academy's Faculty of Foreign Languages, permanently residing in Vietnam. The study's goal was to look into how English majors perceive translation subjects.

The research was carried out in April, 2023. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of English major students at BA toward translation subjects. Students enrolled in major English- language programs at the institute would be the focus of the research. Questionnaire survey and interviews were used to collect data on students' perceptions and attitudes towards the topic of translation.

There were some potential limitations, which might have an impact on the results to this study.
